✺ MURTI PRATISHTHA · JULY 4, 1991 A SPIRITUAL HOME, GENERATIONS IN THE MAKING
From shared devotion to a lasting home. Our story began with devotees gathering in homes in the 1980s. Their dedication led to the purchase of a Grand Prairie property in 1988, followed by the Murti Pratishtha Mahotsav on July 4, 1991.
Today, that spirit of togetherness continues through worship, satsang, and celebrations rooted in the Shree Swaminarayan Vadtal tradition.

× Our temple’s story
A home built by generations of devotees In the mid-1980s, devotees of the Shree Swaminarayan Vadtal Gadi began meeting in one another’s homes for monthly satsang. As the community grew, larger celebrations moved into rented halls. Families carried instruments, books, seating, and cooking supplies between gatherings.
1988 The community purchased a former church property in Grand Prairie, creating a permanent place for worship.
July 4, 1991 The Murti Pratishtha Mahotsav marked a new chapter for the mandir.
1999 A larger kitchen and dining hall were added to support the growing community.
2016 The mandir celebrated its 25th Patotsav.
What began as monthly gatherings became weekly satsang at the mandir. The service of devotees and resident sants continues to shape its spiritual life.
